5-Day Private Zhangjiajie Family Adventure

A day-by-day starting point

This is an itinerary proposal, not a confirmed departure or an instantly bookable package. Arrival times, walking needs, accommodation, attraction routes and availability will shape the final plan.

1. DAY 1

   Arrive and settle in

   Arrive in Zhangjiajie and discuss a private transfer to your agreed hotel. Keep the rest of the day light: a meal, a short local walk if everyone feels ready, and time to prepare for the mountains.

   Arrival day; no essential timed attraction.

2. DAY 2

   Find your first pillar views

   Choose a focused national forest park route, such as selected Yuanjiajie viewpoints, subject to access and conditions. Agree internal transport, walking sections and breaks before finalising the day.

3. DAY 3

   See the forest from another perspective

   Choose a second park route or a selected Golden Whip Stream walk according to energy, weather and comfort. We will discuss the actual distance and surface rather than assume a valley route is effortless.

   A shorter option can be considered; access must be checked.

4. DAY 4

   A separate Tianmen Mountain day

   Consider Tianmen as its own outing near the city. Agree the route, steps and height-related preferences. If it is not suitable, discuss an alternative before booking; the Grand Canyon glass bridge is not included by default.

   Hotel location or a change of base will be discussed.

5. DAY 5

   Leave with time on your side

   Arrange the departure transfer around your confirmed service. Keep this day free of essential mountain sightseeing. A very early departure may affect where you should stay the night before.

   Your onward flight or train determines the schedule.

Tell us your children's general age range, everyone's walking comfort, height preferences and the experiences you are most excited about. Friends can use the same starting plan, with photography, food or a different daily rhythm guiding the conversation.

• Ask about a different fourth day if Tianmen does not suit your party.
• Consider extra nights or an extension rather than squeezing another attraction into a full day.

• Guiding: language, daily hours and whether the guide accompanies each visit.
• Accommodation: four proposed nights; actual hotels, rooms and meals must be agreed.
• Attractions: exact routes, tickets and internal transport are not reserved by this page.
• Changes: confirm weather alternatives, supplier restrictions, cancellation and payment terms.
